32nd SEA Games Mobile Legends: Bang Bang starts May 10: Men and Women’s players, schedules, where to watch

For the first time, the MLBB medal event features standalone matches for women.

The 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) will host a historic Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from May 10 to 14, 2023. For the first time ever, female players will have their own standalone medal event in the tournament, showcasing their skills and talents in a competitive arena.

The tournament will take place at the Naba Theater in NagaWorld 2, Phnom Penh, where the teams will be divided into two groups based on their seeding. All matches will be held in a single elimination best-of-one (Bo1) format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, and the winners will face off in the grand finals on May 14.

The MLBB SEA Games tournament is expected to attract millions of viewers and fans from across the region, as well as showcase the growth and potential of esports in Southeast Asia.

Female Category

The female category of the MLBB SEA Games tournament will kick off on May 10 and conclude on May 11, featuring six teams from Indonesia, Cambodia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Laos, and Vietnam.

The teams will undergo a single elimination best-of-one (Bo1) match series in their respective groups. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, and the winners will face off in the grand finals on May 11 in a best-of-five (Bo5) match series.

Male Category

The male category of the MLBB SEA Games tournament will follow from May 12 to 14, with nine teams from the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Laos, Timor Leste, Cambodia, Myanmar, Singapore, and Indonesia competing for the gold medal. The teams will also undergo a single elimination Bo1 match series in their respective groups.

Group A’s playoffs are scheduled on May 12 and Group B’s playoffs on May 13. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals in a best-of-three (Bo3) series, and the winners will face off in the grand finals on May 14 in a best-of-five (Bo5) match series.
