ASUS ROG Phone 7 Series launches in the Philippines: Starts at P50,995

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) launched the all-new ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate in the Philippines. The vanilla variant starts at P50,995, while the Ultimate one has an SRP of P69,995.

The ROG Phone 7 Series is powered by the flagship 3.2GHz Snapdragon Gen 2 predecessor with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It boasts a 165Hz AMOLED display with Delta-E < 1 color accuracy and supports HDR10+ with a peak brightness of 1500 nits. Moreover, it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, which offers improved scratch and drop resistance.

The ROG Phone 7 Series features the GameCool 7 thermal system, which comes with a redesigned vapor chamber, graphite sheets, and copper heat spreaders. Meanwhile, the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate comes with the AeroActive Cooler 7, which attaches to the back of the phone and provides active cooling and extra controls. The AeroActive Cooler 7 has a built-in fan that offers up to 10% improved thermal efficiency and a subwoofer that boosts the volume by up to 50%.

The gaming phones also offer a range of features that enhance the gaming experience, such as AirTrigger buttons that provide customizable ultrasonic controls on the edges of the phone, GameFX Audio System that delivers powerful stereo sound with dual front-facing speakers, HyperFusion technology that combines Wi-Fi and mobile data for stable connectivity, and X Mode that optimizes the performance and battery settings for different games.

The ROG Phone 7 Series also has a massive 6000 mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 5.0 technology that can charge up to 50% in only 15 minutes. It also supports reverse charging, which allows users to charge supported devices and accessories.

ROG x MOONTON Games

ASUS Republic of Gamers also announced its two-year partnership with MOONTON Games to host four international Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) tournaments, starting with MSC 2023 in Cambodia. 

The partnership aims to enhance the gaming experience of MLBB players and fans and optimize the performance of the ROG Phone series for tournament usage.
