ASUS ROG Ally is available for pre-order in the Philippines

If you want to get your hands on the ROG Ally, you can pre-order the handheld gaming PC in the Philippines. GameXtreme is accepting pre-orders on its website. You can find it here but you need to shell out a P10,000 deposit.

The final price is still unknown, but GameXtreme estimates it will cost P49,990. Plus, you get a 1-year local service warranty for your peace of mind.

GameXtreme is the first retailer to announce the ROG Ally. We expect others like Data Blitz and Game One PH to do the same soon.

The ROG Ally is a direct competitor to the Steam Deck. Unlike the latter which runs on Steam OS, the Ally runs on Windows 11 Home, which means not only can you install most games but you can also run games included on the Xbox Game Pass.

The handheld gaming PC features a custom AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor with 8 cores, 16 threads and up to 5.10 GHz boost. The GPU has 12 RDNA3 CUs with up to 2.7 GHz and 8.6 TFLOP. The device has 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD storage.

The display is a 7-inch FHD IPS touchscreen with 120Hz refresh rate, FreeSync Premium, 500 nits brightness, and 7 ms response time. The device has a variety of ports, buttons, triggers, and haptics for comfortable and ergonomic gaming. It also has a fingerprint sensor, Dolby Atmos audio, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and a Microsoft Pluton security processor.

The ROG Ally has a Zero Gravity thermal system and dual fan design to keep it cool and quiet in any orientation. It also has a special edition of Armoury Crate that lets you access all your games, settings, keymaps and Aura Sync lighting from one app. And lastly, it has a 40WHrs battery and a 65W USB Type-C power supply.
