realme C53 with 50MP camera & 90Hz display debuts in the Philippines for P7,999

realme launched its latest entry-level smartphone, the realme C53, in the Philippines. The phone boasts competitive specs for the price, including a 50MP dual camera setup, a 90Hz FHD display, and a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

The realme C53 is available online for an early bird price of only P6,999 until June 23, exclusively on TikTok Shop and Lazada. After that, it will retail back to its regular SRP of P7,999. It comes in two color options: Champion Gold and Mighty Black.

The phone is powered by a Unisoc T612 processor, which is also found on some of realme and narzo’s budget models. It has 6GB of RAM, which can be expanded by up to 6GB using the RAM expansion feature, and 128GB of storage.

The realme C53 sports a 6.74-inch FHD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a dew drop notch for the 8MP selfie camera. The display also features the brand’s Mini Capsule notification system, which shows animation effects for charging, low-battery notifications, remaining available data for the day, and steps and distance achieved on the top of the screen.

The phone’s dual rear camera consists of a 50MP main sensor and a depth sensor. It also boasts a sleek design with a thickness of only 7.49mm, making it the thinnest in the realme C series.

The realme C53 runs on realme UI T Edition based on Android 13. It has a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging via USB-C. According to realme, the phone can charge from zero to 50% in just 31 minutes.
