Samsung accidentally leaks its own Galaxy S23 FE, Tab S9 FE and Buds FE

Samsung fans may have gotten an early glimpse of the company’s upcoming devices, thanks to a blunder by its own website. The tech giant accidentally revealed the names and images of the Galaxy S23 FE, Tab S9 FE, and Buds FE on its official support page for Argentina.

The “FE” stands for “Fan Edition”, which means these products are expected to be more affordable versions of Samsung’s flagship devices.

The Galaxy S23 FE is a mid-range offering, likely poised to compete with the new iPhone 15. It will offer updated internals and design. The Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE Plus, which feature an S Pen stylus support and additional speakers, are designed to rival the iPad lineup.

Meanwhile, the Buds FE wireless earbuds offer a cheaper alternative to the Buds Pro. Leaks suggest it will have active noise cancellation, more bass response, and up to 30 hours of battery life with the charging case.

The leak, of course, all but confirms the arrival of the devices. Samsung has not officially announced any details yet, but they are expected to launch soon, possibly in October. They will join the Galaxy S23 series, which was unveiled in February and includes the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra smartphones.

Samsung hopes to attract more customers and boost its sales with its more affordable options, revitalizing its mid-range offering with powerful specs and updated designs. However, there’s also the risk of cannibalizing its own premium products.
