Xiaomi will launch the Redmi 13C in the Philippines on December 1, 2023, according to a post on its official Facebook account. However, the budget phone was spotted on Shopee with a price tag of ₱4,999.
According to the listing, you can add the Redmi 13C to your cart right now. The phone is available for pre-order on Shopee at a discounted price of ₱4,499, thanks to an early bird promotion that will run until December 2.
However, if you are eager to get the phone, its Shopee listing also shows a flash deal on November 30, 12 midnight with the same discounted price.
The Redmi 13C is also going to be available on Lazada. At the time of this article, it is listed on the platform as “coming soon” with a placeholder image and a fake price tag. The phone is available in Navy Blue, White, Midnight Black, and Clover Green colors.
The Redmi 13C features a 6.74-inch HD+ display with a 1650×720 resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 5MP water drop selfie camera.
It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor. Although it comes in two configurations, only the 4GB+128GB variant will be available in the country. The phone also has a 5000mAh battery with 18W USB-C fast charging.
The Redmi 13C has a triple camera setup at the back, consisting of a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. It also features MIUI 14 on top of Android 12, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Price and availability
The Redmi 13C is scheduled to launch in the Philippines on December 1, 2023. The budget phone with a 50MP camera and a 90Hz refresh rate will have a price of ₱4,999.
