Malaysia to host Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 Grand Finals

Malaysia is the next destination of the Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 Grand Finals. The news was announced by Andrew Hou, the President of Acer Pan-Asia Pacific Operations, at the APAC Predator League 2024 press conference on Saturday.

The Asia Pacific Predator League is the premier esports tournament in the Asia-Pacific region, organized by Acer. It features the top teams competing in Dota 2 and VALORANT, known for its high level of competition, passionate fans, and exciting atmosphere.

“The Asia Pacific Predator League is a regional tournament that helps Acer connect with the gaming community. Beyond that, it culls the esports athletes with the most potential from the best of the best,” said Andrew Hou, President of Acer Pan Asia Pacific.

The 2024 edition, which will conclude in Manila, Philippines, on January 14, featured 26 teams competing to take home the coveted Predator Shield, and the lion’s share of the $200,000 prize pool.

In Dota 2, four teams represented the Philippines: Blacklist Rivalry, Execration, Polaris Esports, and Made in Philippines. While in VALORANT, the Philippine flag was represented by Team Secret, Oasis Gaming, and ZOL Esports.

Aside from the nail-biting matches, the Grand Finals also featured Filipino entertainment from the country’s top artists, including Acer ambassadors Sarah Geronimo, SB19, Ylona Garcia, Felip, Urbandub, Al James, UPeepz, KZ Tandingan, Sandwich, Franco, Spongecola, Manila Symphony Orchestra, Daloy Dance Company, Josh Cullen, and Pablo.

It also featured Predator ambassadors Cong TV and the Team Payaman boys, burg, KuyaNic, Chibiby, Maggiekarp, amaratv, Een Mercado, Kang Dupet, and Alodia Gosiengfiao.
