Ultra-slim HONOR Magic V2 to launch in PH this February

The world's thinnest foldable is 9.9mm thick when folded and weighs only 231g.

After teasing the arrival of the world’s thinnest foldable phone in the country, HONOR confirms the launch of the Magic V2 in the Philippines. The launch, which will happen on February 21, will be live-streamed on HONOR PH’s Facebook page at exactly 6 PM.

The Magic V2 is the world’s thinnest foldable phone, weighing only 231g and measuring 9.9mm in thickness when folded.

“Engineered to spur mainstream adoption, the HONOR Magic V2 is the thinnest and lightest book-style foldable smartphone to date, redefining industry benchmarks with significant improvements across form factor, battery, display, and user experience aspects,” said Stephen Cheng, HONOR Philippines Vice President.

The Magic V2 features a titanium alloy hinge and second-generation nanocrystal glass. The hinge can endure over 400,000 folds, while the nanocrystal glass offers up to 10 times greater drop resistance compared to typical glass.

Moreover, it is equipped with a 50MP+50MP+20MP triple AI Motion Sensing Camera, up to 23GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 5000mAh dual-cell silicon-carbon battery for all-day battery life. It also has a 66W fast charging that can top up the battery in a short time.

The phone also has a 120Hz high refresh rate on the inner and external displays and an industry-leading 3840 PWM Dimming technology on a foldable.
