vivo announced a new variant of its Y17s smartphone in the Philippines, offering more memory for users who want a boost in productivity and versatility on their devices.
The vivo Y17s with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is now available for P6,999 at vivo’s official online store and authorized dealers nationwide. The phone is also listed on Shopee for P5,999, with further discounts from February 20 to 29.
Meanwhile, the 4GB+128GB variant, which first arrived in the Philippines in October, is priced at P5,249 on Lazada, and will also have special offers on February 24 and 26.
The vivo Y17s boasts a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS display with a notch for the 8MP selfie camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor with a large 5000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging.
On the back, the vivo Y17s sports a 50MP primary camera with autofocus and an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor that adds bokeh effects to portraits and shots.
The vivo Y17s also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, face recognition, dual SIM slots, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, an FM radio, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone runs on Funtouch OS 13, based on Android 13, which offers a user-friendly and customizable interface.
