Epson recently announced the Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM-C400 and AM-C550 – a new line of energy-efficient and compact mid-range A4 printers. These space-saving design printers can print up to 40 and 55 pages per minute in both simplex and duplex printing. The A4 AM series offers a hassle-free front-loading design, which makes it ideal for small offices and busy customer-facing work environments.
The Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM series is powered by Heat-Free Technology, using 85% less power consumption compared to laser printers. The new printer series has fewer parts and consumables, reducing waste and time spent carrying out replacements and maintenance. The Heat-Free Technology also eliminates the use of heat in the ink ejection process, resulting in faster print-out time.
Noelle Gonzalez, Head of the Marketing Division at Epson Philippines, said that Epson is introducing eco-friendly solutions, evident in the WorkForce Enterprise AM series, which aligns with the company’s commitment to developing products that are “Engineered for Good”, demonstrating viable alternatives that prioritize sustainable innovation without sacrificing performance — all while being responsive to the needs of Philippine businesses. Consequently, the move is aligned with Epson’s sustainability commitment and follows the phasing out of laser printers in Southeast Asia at the end of 2023.
