Xiaomi recently launched its latest flip phone, the Xiaomi MIX Flip. The device featured a large cover display and an even larger battery.
The MIX Flip features a 6.86-inch inside display with an LTPO AMOLED panel and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+, with a peak brightness of 3000 nits.
The cover display takes up the whole cover when folded and measures 4 inches with an AMOLED panel and scratch and drop-resistant glass.
The flip phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with up to 16GB of RAM and a max of 1TB storage. It also has a large 4780mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging. It runs on HyperOS, based on Android 14.
The MIX Flip has a dual camera setup with a 50MP Light Fusion 800 sensor for the main camera and a 50MP telephoto camera. At the same time, a 32MP shooter handles selfies and video calls. The cameras are equipped with Leica’s next-generation Summilux lenses.
Stereo speakers, a side fingerprint scanner, and an improved dual-link hinge complete the package.
The Xiaomi MIX Flip is available in Black, White, Purple, and a Nylon fiber edition. It comes in 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB configurations with a starting price of CNY 5,999 (which converts to around PHP 48,170 or roughly USD 825).
There’s no information yet on availability in the Philippines.
