realme launches durable NARZO N61 with ArmorShell protection

Following the success of the N65, budget phone brand NARZO, a sub-brand of realme, has launched the NARZO N61 in India. This new phone prioritizes longevity with features designed for everyday wear and tear.

The N61 boasts a sturdy build with a die-cast aluminum frame and IP54 dust and water resistance. The 6.67-inch HD display with a 90Hz refresh rate is protected by reinforced glass. It also features Rainwater Smart Touch, making the touchscreen usable even with wet fingers.

A 5MP selfie camera also sits inside a waterdrop notch, complemented by NARZO’s “Mini Capsule 2.0” UI that displays some notifications at the top of the screen.

Durability extends beyond the display. Silicon seals and foam padding safeguard all external ports – the card slot, USB-C port, speakers, headphone jack, and microphone – from dust and water ingress. This, combined with the IP54 certification, protects the phone against drops and bends.

Under the hood, the NARZO N61 is powered by a UNISOC T612 processor paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. As for the main camera, there’s a single 32MP sensor at the back.

The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging and runs realme UI on top of Android 14. Further emphasizing its focus on longevity, the phone boasts a TÜV Rheinland High Reliability Certificate and a 48-month fluency guarantee, promising a lag-free user experience for four years.

Price-wise, the NARZO N61 starts at INR 7,500 (around Php 5,250) for the 4GB+64GB variant and goes up to INR 8,500 (Php 5,950) for the 6GB+128GB model. The phone is currently available for purchase in India via the realme India website. At this point, there’s no news yet of availability in the Philippines.
