Smart unveils Loan-A-Load: Borrow data when you need it

Smart Communications recently introduced Loan-A-Load, a novel service designed to address the ever-growing need for data connectivity. This new offering allows Smart Prepaid subscribers on Android devices to borrow data allocations when they need it.

Initially, Loan-A-Load provides three data packages: 100B Open Access Data for Php 5, 200MB Open Access Data for Php 10, and 300MB Open Access Data for Php 15, all valid for one day.

Availing the service is straightforward. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Users must activate their mobile data with WiFi deactivated and utilize Facebook Free Mode.
  2. Additionally, their Smart mobile number must be linked to their Facebook account.
  3. On the Facebook Mobile Center, subscribers may choose their preferred Loan-A-Load package and then tap ‘Confirm.’

The Loan-A-Load service can only be used by the borrower one at a time. Borrowers should also not have an existing loan balance and have been active on the Smart network for at least 30 days. As soon as the borrower has paid off his or her previous loan, he or she may be able to use the service again.

Loan-A-Load is powered by Smart’s award-winning mobile network, recently recognized for delivering the Philippines’ Best 5G Coverage Experience by Opensignal, an independent network analytics provider.
