vivo V40 5G to debut in the Philippines this September

vivo is expanding its smartphone lineup in the Philippines with the upcoming arrival of the vivo V40 5G. The mid-range phone is set to launch in the country on September 18.

The vivo V40 5G features the Gemini Ring Design with a unique camera module. The phone has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 2800×1260 resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 4500 nits.

Inside, it has an efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor with 8GB of RAM, up to 12GB RAM expansion, and 256GB of storage. It also packs a hefty 5500mAh battery, supported by 80W fast charging.

The V40 sports a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide lens, both equipped with ZEISS optics. Additionally, a 50MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.

There’s also an in-display fingerprint scanner for convenient and secure unlocking and an IP68 dust and water rating. On the software side, it has a Funtouch OS 14, built on top of the Android 14.
