Aside from the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro models, Apple also unveiled the Watch Series 10. The new smartwatch features a refined design, a thinner case, and a larger display.
The Watch Series 10 comes in polished aluminum and titanium cases. The aluminum variant adds a Jet Black color, along with Silver and Rose Gold. While the titanium variant is available in Natural, Gold, and Slate colors.
The Apple Watch Series 10 is nearly 10% thinner than the previous Apple Watch model. In addition, it is also lighter and has more rounded corners and a wider aspect ratio. Aluminum cases weigh up to 10% less than the previous model, while titanium cases weigh almost 20% less than the stainless steel Series 9.
The wearables come in new 42mm and 46mm case sizes. It boasts an LTPO3 Always-On Retina display with a wide-angle OLED panel and a peak brightness of 2000 nits, protected by sapphire front crystal.
It has a new S10 SiP under the hood with 64GB storage, and a built-in 4-core Neural Engine for intelligent features, including the double tap gesture, on-device Siri, dictation, and automatic workout detection; safety features such as Crash Detection and Fall Detection; and the updated Smart Stack, the redesigned Photos face, and the Translate app in watchOS 11.
The watch retains an 18-hour battery life and now offers fast charging. Apple claims it can charge to 80% in about 30 minutes.
For the health features, the Watch Series 10 can now help identify signs of sleep apnea, on top of existing functions such as ECG, heart rate, sleep, and blood oxygen monitoring, among others.
