Apple unveils AirPods 4 for open-ear listeners, priced in the Philippines

Apple’s recent “It’s Glowtime” event saw the launch of the highly anticipated iPhone 16 and 16 Pro. Apart from the new iPhones, the company also revealed the AirPods 4. These come in two models: the regular AirPods 4 and the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).

Open-ear design is for those who don’t like the invasive feeling of in-ear headphones.

For the first time, Apple has brought ANC to an open-ear design. The AirPods 4 with ANC effectively reduces environmental noise, ensuring a more focused listening experience. It also features Transparency mode, Adaptive Audio, and Conversation Awareness to enhance the overall listening experience.

The device features an open-ear design with a new acoustic architecture, a low-distortion driver, and a high-dynamic range amplifier.

It is powered by the H2 chip, which allows the AirPods 4 to offer intelligent features such as Voice Isolation, Siri Interactions, and low wireless audio latency. The new force sensor on the stem allows for quick control of media playback and calls.
