Xiaomi has announced the Xiaomi 15 Pro. It launched alongside the Xiaomi 15, bringing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, Leica cameras, and a larger display.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro is the bigger sibling in the lineup, sporting a 6.73-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, and a peak brightness of 3200 nits. Like the vanilla model, the screen is topped with Xiaomi Dragon Crystal, which is claimed to be 10x stronger than the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite with 12GB or 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It also has a larger 6100mAH battery which supports 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
On the photography side of things, the Xiaomi 15 Pro has three 50MP sensors for the main, telephoto, and ultra-wide cameras, supported by Leica optics. However, it brings a longer 5x optical zoom. The phone also retains the same 32MP front camera.
The 15 Pro comes in Black, White, and Green colors. It also adds a fourth option in a Silver finish with 3D ripple effects.
Like the Xiaomi 15, we have no information yet on the 15 Pro model’s Philippine release. However, we’re expecting both devices to reach our shores.
