Smart Communications (Smart) has made history with the country’s first 5G Max-powered concert and experiential showcase. The “Amazing 5G Max Experience” was held on December 14th in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), and showcased the power of Smart 5G Max, an enhanced 5G network offering faster speeds and ultra-low latency.
A key highlight of the event was the seamless live-streaming of OPM singer-songwriter Arthur Nery’s performance from Fully Booked on High Street to the main concert stage on Fifth Avenue. This real-time, high-quality broadcast was powered by Smart 5G Max, allowing for a smooth and immersive digital experience.
The concert also featured performances by renowned artists such as Bamboo, Belle Mariano, Moira, and AC Bonifacio.
Beyond the concert, the “Amazing 5G Max Experience” offered a range of interactive zones designed to showcase the diverse applications of 5G Max.
Creator’s Lab is an interactive space where attendees experiment with content creation and upload their work to TikTok. Game Arena lets mobile gamers challenge esports teams, Smart Omega and Empress, in popular games like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Honor of Kings. Lastly, Stream Theater is a dedicated area for enjoying the latest shows on streaming platforms like MAX and Netflix.
Throughout the event, real-time speed tests were also conducted to demonstrate that Smart 5G Max speeds were up to three times faster than standard 5G.
