HUAWEI showcased its latest products at the HUAWEI Innovative Foldable Pop-up Store in the Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
This immersive experience allows visitors to explore and try out HUAWEI’s newest foldable technologies and other innovative devices.
The pop-up store features interactive booths, activities, and demonstration areas where visitors can try out the HUAWEI Mate XT, the Mate X6, the MatePad Pro 13.2-inch 2025, and more.
The centerpiece of the event is an impressive demonstration of the Mate X6’s durability, showcasing the phone’s strength by suspending a motorcycle from it. A ramming device was also used to highlight the foldable’s impact resistance.
The Mate X6 features significant design upgrades to enhance its durability. It has an advanced hinge system made with high-strength materials and an embedded slide rail structure, which reduces the hinge’s folding thickness by 12% and unfolded thickness by 14%, enhancing its durability.

Meanwhile, the Mate XT is also present as the crown jewel of the exhibit. Unveiled on February 18, it is HUAWEI’s most advanced foldable phone yet, boasting an immersive 10.2-inch tri-fold display and an ultra-slim 3.6mm frame.
The Mate XT offers three display modes: a 10.2-inch triple-sized display, a 7.9-inch dual-sized display, and a 6.4-inch single-sized display. It uses multi-directional flexible materials that are 25% more bend-resistant, providing resistance to both compression when folded inward and tension when folded outward.
On the photography side, the Mate XT features a Star Diamond Design camera module, housing three sensors: a 50MP XMAGE main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. For selfies, it includes an 8MP front camera.
Lastly, the MatePad Pro 13.2-inch 2025 was also on display. The tablet is equipped with a 13.2-inch OLED PaperMatte display, offering PC-level capabilities for professionals on the go.
The screen boasts high color accuracy, a peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits, and a sharp 2.8K resolution. It also comes with powerful software for enhanced productivity, including WPS Office, HUAWEI Notes, and GoPaint for digital artists.
