vivo has launched the vivo V50 in the Philippines in a star-studded event. The handset features an advanced camera system, a sleek design, and powerful performance.
The phone boasts a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 2800×1260 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 4500 nits.
It is equipped with three 50MP ZEISS cameras, including a main camera and an ultra-wide lens, with focal lengths of 23mm, 35mm, and 50mm. It also features seven classic ZEISS-style bokeh options for enhanced portraits.
Performance-wise, the V50 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, coupled with 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB storage options.
It also runs on Funtouch OS 15, based on Android 15, which brings several AI features such as AI Transcript Assist, vivo Live Call Translation, Circle to Search, and Google Gemini. vivo promises a 60-month fluency, ensuring smooth and lag-free operation over time.
The phone has a massive 6000mAh battery with 90W fast charging, making it one of the slimmest smartphones with such a large capacity. It also features an IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance rating and upgraded Shield Glass from Schott, making it 50% more drop-resistant than its predecessor.
Price and Pre-order Details
The vivo V50 is available for pre-order until March 14, 2025, with an exclusive discount of PHP 2,000. The handset is priced at PHP 27,999 for the 12GB+256GB model, and PHP 30,999 for the 12GB+512GB model.
Claiming will start on March 15 to 31, bundled with a free vivo TWS 3e (worth PHP 1,999) and a vivo VIP card.
