Xiaomi launches Redmi Note 14S with 200MP camera

Xiaomi has unveiled its latest budget smartphone, the Redmi Note 14S. The new device shares many similarities with the Redmi Note 14 4G but comes with a few key differences.

The Redmi Note 14S features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 5 for added durability. Powering the device is a MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

On the camera front, the Note 14S boasts a triple rear camera setup, including a 200MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. For selfies and video calls, the device is equipped with a 16MP front camera.

The phone runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS, though the specific Android version it’s based on has not been disclosed. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 5000mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging, and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Redmi Note 14S is priced at UAH 10,999 in Ukraine, which converts to PHP 15,200 or USD 265. As of now, there’s no word on its availability in other regions.
