TECNO announced that its new CAMON 40 Series will come with 5 years of security updates and 3-generation Android updates. The lineup — featuring the CAMON 40 Premier, CAMON 40 Pro 5G, CAMON 40 Pro 4G, and CAMON 40 — debuted at MWC 2025 in Barcelona, Spain.
Launching with HiOS 15 based on Android 15, these devices are guaranteed updates up to Android 18 and extended security support of up to five years.
The CAMON 40 Premier features a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate AI processor, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a 5100mAh battery. Its triple rear cameras include a 50MP main, telephoto, and ultra-wide lens, complemented by a 50MP front camera.
The CAMON 40 Pro 5G swaps the ultra-wide lens for an 8MP sensor and has a 6.78-inch FHD AMOLED display with a larger 5200mAh battery. Its fast charging is reduced to 45W.
The CAMON 40 Pro 4G uses a Helio G100 Ultimate chipset, a 6.78-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and similar cameras. The CAMON 40 4G includes a 32MP selfie shooter.
