Facebook is bringing back the Friends tab, making it easier for users to see content exclusively from people they actually know. This update is rolling out first in the United States and Canada, with plans to expand to more users soon.
Previously, the Friends tab was mainly for checking friend requests and discovering new connections through People You May Know.
But after the update, it will show your friends’ stories, reels, posts, birthdays, and friend requests. This will make it easier to stay connected without all the extra content from brands or suggested posts.
You can find the Friends tab on the navigation bar in your Home feed. If it’s not pinned there, you can always access it in the Bookmarks section of the app.
How to pin the Friends Tab
- Tap your profile picture in the Home feed.
- Go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Tab bar.
- Choose customize, select Friends, and pin it for easy access.
This update aims to make social interactions more personal and simple. The Friends tab makes sure you get updates from the people who matter most.
