VALORANT introduces new map ‘Corrode’ in Season 2025 // Act IV

New map Corrode joins VALORANT with tactical features, new skins, and updated Battlepass in Season 2025 // Act IV launch.

Riot Games has added a new map called Corrode to VALORANT Season 2025 // Act IV. Set on Omega Earth, Corrode transforms a French castle town into a Radianite salt mining facility, blending old architecture with industrial elements for a more tactical and controlled gameplay style.

Corrode is designed for strategy-focused matches and includes:

  • A three-lane layout with two Spike Sites
  • Fallback zones for defensive plays
  • Structures that limit the ability to spam and reward map control

The map is now part of the competitive pool, with reduced Ranked Rating (RR) penalties for losses during the first two weeks. From June 25 to 30, a special Swiftplay queue will feature Corrode, giving players a chance to practice and learn the layout.

Riot also launched the Phaseguard Collection, a high-tech skinline featuring:

  • Vandal, Outlaw, Ghost, Bulldog
  • A new Splitter melee weapon

The latest Battlepass includes new cosmetics such as the 5 Years: Kill All Radiants player card, Bonsai Gun Buddy, and ATLAS // CMD Vandal.

VALORANT Season 2025 // Act IV is now live. The Phaseguard Collection will be available starting June 26.
