Riot Games is growing Wild Rift’s competitive and creator programs in the Philippines, opening more paths for players and content creators to qualify for SMASH 2026 in South Korea.
The new roadmap introduces two tracks: the Community Champions Cup and Creator Showmatches. Both will give aspiring pro teams and local creators a chance to compete on the global stage. For Filipino fans, this means more opportunities to showcase talent and be part of the wider esports ecosystem.
The Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open started June 4, with Split 1 running until July. Split 2 registration opens on July 6, with finals on September 25–27. The tournament has a ₱1,000,000 prize pool, and winners from both tracks will represent the Philippines at SMASH 2026.
Riot also rolled out the Wild Rift Partner Program and Nexus Elite, featuring top Filipino creators like OHMYV33NUS, WISE, and Yamada.
On the game side, Riot confirmed upcoming patch updates: 6C: Growing Us in July and 6D: Rhythms of Memory in September. Both updates align with Wild Rift’s anniversary and the SMASH 2026 finals, keeping players engaged with fresh content.
