Season 3 continues the story from Spirit Blossom Beyond to Welcome to Noxus, featuring key champions like LeBlanc, Yunara, Atakhan, and Xin Zhao. Xin Zhao gets a full visual update, refreshing all skins and temporarily unlocking vaulted ones. A new Epic skin will also be released later in Act 1.

Gameplay improvements include jungle camp timers and better tracking of summoner spells. Doom Bots mode returns with new challenges, curses, and a boss. Riot is also testing WASD movement controls as an alternative to point-and-click, starting with PBE and non-Ranked queues.

Player behavior enforcement ramps up in Patch 25.18. Riot will target smurfing, boosting, and account sharing using Vanguard’s detection and player reports. The True Skill 2 matchmaking system is also expanding to improve match quality.

New cosmetics include Prestige skins for Sylas, Mel, Jarvan IV, and Zoe. T1’s Worlds 2024 commemorative skins arrive in September. Players with Viktor Mastery Level 5+ will receive Machine Herald Viktor for free in Patch 25.19.

Season 3 aims to improve gameplay, fairness, and community standards while preparing for the biggest esports event of the year.
