Samsung is preparing to launch a new budget-friendly smartphone — the Galaxy A17 5G. Ahead of its release, a French retailer has leaked key specs.
The Galaxy A17 5G will feature a slim 7.5mm body and a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on Samsung’s Exynos 1330 chip and will be available with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, paired with 128GB or 256GB of storage. A 5,000mAh battery supports 25W fast charging.
For cameras, the phone will have a triple rear setup: a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, it includes a 13MP selfie camera.
Other features include One UI 7 based on Android 15 and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. It will come in three colors: Black, Blue, and Gray.
The listing shows a price of £229 (around ₱17,470), though this may change once the phone officially launches. More details are expected soon.
