OPPO A5i Pro 5G launched with Dimensity 6300 and 6,000mAh battery

The phone features 5G connectivity, a big battery, and budget price.

OPPO has launched the A5i Pro 5G in Malaysia, adding 5G support to its budget smartphone lineup.

The phone features a 6.67-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an HD+ resolution. It reaches up to 1,000 nits of brightness and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. Inside, it runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The handset has a 6,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. OPPO says it can keep 80% of its capacity even after five years.

The phone also includes a 50MP main camera, a 2MP monochrome sensor, and an 8MP front camera. A 3.5mm headphone jack is included.

The A5i Pro 5G is IP65-rated for dust and splash resistance and meets MIL-STD-810H standards for shock protection.

It’s available in Breeze Blue and Midnight Purple for MYR 799 (about ₱10,830 / $188). Those who order from OPPO’s online store in Malaysia before September 16 will get a free one-year extended warranty.
