Samsung launches Galaxy A17 5G and LTE models in the Philippines

Offers AMOLED display, AI tools, and long battery life starting at ₱9,290.

Samsung has officially released the Galaxy A17 5G and LTE variants in the Philippines. The new smartphones are part of the brand’s budget-friendly Galaxy A Series.

The Galaxy A17 5G and LTE models come with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display and a 90Hz refresh rate. Both versions are powered by an upgraded processor for smoother performance. The phones also support 25W fast charging and have long-lasting batteries.

For photography, the Galaxy A17 includes a triple camera setup: a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. It also features optical image stabilization for clearer photos and videos in low light.

The phones run on One UI with 6 years of OS and security updates that will last until August 31, 2031.

Samsung added AI-powered tools like Gemini Live and Circle to Search with Google. The phones also include Samsung Knox Vault for enhanced data protection and Theft Protection features like remote locking and biometric enforcement.

The Galaxy A17 5G is priced at ₱13,590 and is available in Black, Gray, and Blue (online only). The LTE version retails for ₱9,290 and comes in Black, Silver, and Light Blue (online only).

Both models are available through Samsung stores and online platforms starting September 5, with the LTE variant arriving on September 26.

Samsung is offering discounts on accessories and installment plans until November 30.
