Samsung has officially announced the rollout schedule for its latest software update, One UI 8, based on Android 16. The update brings new AI-powered features and security improvements to a wide range of Galaxy devices.
Starting September 18, the Galaxy S25 series will be the first to receive One UI 8. The Galaxy S24 series, including the S24 FE, will follow on September 25. Other Galaxy S models, such as the S23 and S22 series, will get the update in early October. The Galaxy S21 FE is scheduled for October 16.
Foldable phones like the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 will also begin receiving the update on September 25. Older foldables, including the Fold5, Fold4, Flip5, and Flip4, are set for rollout in October.
Samsung’s mid-range Galaxy A series will start getting One UI 8 from September 25, with models like the A56 5G and A36 5G. More A-series devices, including the A54 5G, A34 5G, and A73 5G, will follow throughout October.
Galaxy Tab devices are also included. The Tab S10 series will begin receiving the update on October 2, followed by the Tab S9 and Tab S8 series later in the month.
One UI 8 introduces smarter AI suggestions, better privacy tools, and improved support for different screen sizes.
