Ayaneo, best known for its Android-powered retro-inspired handheld gaming consoles, is now stepping into the smartphone market. The company recently teased its first mobile device, aptly named the Ayaneo Phone, “a mobile phone truly made for gamers.”

A short video shows the phone’s rear design, which includes two camera sensors that sit flat against the back cover. This flush layout is similar to RedMagic’s design, which avoids bulky camera bumps.
Ayaneo hasn’t shared any specs or release details yet. Instead, the teaser focuses on the brand’s gamer-first message. The tagline “Real gamers know gamers” suggests the phone is built with gaming in mind, not just as a feature but as its core purpose.
Entering the gaming phone space puts Ayaneo in direct competition with brands like RedMagic and ASUS’s ROG Phone. It’s unclear how Ayaneo plans to stand out, but the company says the project was “born from the pure love of gaming and the pursuit of dreams.”
