Samsung has launched the Galaxy A07 5G in the Philippines, expanding its A series lineup with a budget-friendly 5G smartphone. The device is priced at ₱8,290 for the 64GB variant and ₱9,990 for the 128GB variant, available in Black and Light Violet.
Compared to the Galaxy A06 5G, the new model brings notable upgrades. The display jumps from 90Hz to 120Hz for smoother visuals, while the battery increases from 5,000mAh to 6,000mAh, which means more time between charges for streaming and gaming.
Other than these upgrades, most of the specs remain unchanged. The phone features a 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen also supports up to 800 nits, keeping visuals clear even in bright outdoor conditions.
For performance, it is powered by a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. On the camera side, it sports a 50MP wide lens and a 2MP depth sensor at the back, plus an 8MP front camera for selfies.
Durability is a highlight. The Galaxy A07 5G has IP54 dust and water resistance and uses Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer for added protection against scratches. It is 8.2mm thick and weighs 199 grams, balancing a slim profile with a proven build quality.
Samsung also integrated AI features such as Google Gemini and Circle to Search. The phone ships with One UI 8.0 and promises six generations of Android OS upgrades along with six years of security updates, backed by Samsung Knox Vault for enhanced privacy.

The new Galaxy A07 5G is slightly more expensive than the previous model, likely due to the increased pricing of components (such as RAM) and its hardware upgrades. Stay tuned for updates.
