Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra leak shows new camera island

A fresh leak has revealed the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, giving us a close look at its updated design and camera setup.

Reliable tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) recently shared a press render of the phone in purple (which has since been taken down), showing off a new vertical, pill-shaped camera island ahead of its official launch later this month.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra will come with four rear cameras. Three sit inside the island, while the fourth sensor, laser autofocus, and LED flash are placed outside.

Expected specs include a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 50MP ultrawide with autofocus, a 12MP telephoto with 3x zoom, and a 50MP telephoto with 5x zoom. The front camera remains a 12MP sensor, unchanged from the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Earlier reports suggested Samsung might add magnets for Qi2 wireless charging. The leak confirms this is not the case. Instead, users will need magnet-equipped cases to use Qi2 accessories.

The updated design also looks similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 7, pointing to a more consistent look across Samsung’s lineup.
