Blizzard is marking Diablo’s 30th anniversary with a major update: the Warlock class is coming to Diablo II: Resurrected, Diablo IV, and Diablo Immortal. This is the first new playable class introduced across the franchise in more than 25 years.

In Diablo II: Resurrected, the Warlock is available now through the Reign of the Warlock update. The class focuses on demon summoning and transformation. The patch also introduces new endgame challenges, loot filters, and stash improvements.
Diablo Immortal will get the Warlock later in 2026. The class is tied to forbidden Vizjerei magic and will be included in the Andariel Rises roadmap. The update also brings back Lut Gholein, divided into two wards, along with new events and collaborations.
Meanwhile, Diablo IV will launch its Lord of Hatred expansion on April 28. Players will face Mephisto and explore Skovos, a new region inspired by Mediterranean settings. The Warlock joins the Paladin as new playable classes.
The expansion adds War Plans, a customizable endgame system, and Echoing Hatred encounters with increasing difficulty.
