Something big is coming from Apple on March 4

Apple has sent out invites to its first big event of 2026, happening on March 4. The company calls it a “special Apple experience,” with events set in New York (9AM ET), London (2PM GMT), and Shanghai (10PM CST).

Expect to see the iPhone 17e, which has been making rounds on tech news sites (including ours). It will replace the iPhone 16e and is rumored to come with the new A19 chip, a 6.1-inch display with Dynamic Island, and an 18MP front camera.

At the back, it could rock a single 48MP camera. Other features could include Apple’s C1X modem and MagSafe support. Price is said to start at $599, which makes it one of Apple’s more affordable devices.

Apple is also preparing updates for its Mac lineup. A new entry-level MacBook with the A18 Pro chip and aluminum body could launch under $1,000. The MacBook Air is expected to get the M5 chip, while the MacBook Pro line may see new M5 Pro and M5 Max versions. New Mac displays are also likely.

On the tablet side, Apple might introduce an updated iPad Air with the M4 chip and a new baseline iPad powered by the A18 chip. These suggest Apple is planning a wide refresh across its devices.

The iPhone 17e is drawing a lot of attention, even with its unconfirmed status. Apple’s March 4 event looks set to be one of the company’s biggest announcements this year.
