Looking for a compact PC with a retro design and powerful hardware? AceMagic has announced the Retro X5 mini PC, a small desktop that looks like the old NES console but runs like a modern gaming rig.
Inside, the Retro X5 has an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 chip with 12 cores and 24 threads, paired with Radeon 890M graphics. It comes with 32GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD.
AceMagic says it can play AAA games at over 100fps in 1080p, and even handle 1440p smoothly. Cyberpunk 2077 can hit 62fps, Black Myth: Wukong at 82fps, and Apex Legends and Counter-Strike at 59fps.
For ports, you get HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.0, USB‑C 4.0, USB‑C 3.2, dual Gigabit Ethernet, and a headphone jack. Wireless options include Wi‑Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. It runs Windows 11 Pro and also comes with AceMagic’s retro gaming setup.
The Retro X5 is priced at $959 in the US (around ₱57,000 / ₹88,550). Pre‑orders are open now, with shipping starting March 20, 2026. Early buyers can use discount codes to save a bit. Aside from gaming, the specs make it good for video editing, photo work, and other heavy tasks.
