Apple announces Apple Business

Apple has announced Apple Business, a unified platform that brings together IT management, productivity tools, and customer engagement features to businesses. The service will roll out globally on April 14, 2026, covering more than 200 countries and regions.

Apple Business replaces three existing services: Business Essentials, Business Manager, and Business Connect. Current users don’t need to worry about migration. Apple will automatically move data to the new platform.

The platform offers business email, calendar, and directory services with support for custom domains. Employees can use the companion Apple Business app to install work apps, access contacts, and request support. Features like calendar delegation and a company directory will make collaboration smoother.

Apple Business will also help companies manage their brand presence across Apple Maps, Wallet, Siri, Safari, and Spotlight. Businesses can update place cards with photos, hours, and promotions, and even track customer interactions through location insights.

For IT teams, Apple Business includes built‑in mobile device management (MDM). Managed Apple Accounts keep work and personal data separate, while integration with Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra ID makes account creation easier.

The service is free, but Apple will offer optional paid add‑ons such as extra iCloud storage and AppleCare+ for Business.
