Apple sets WWDC26 for June 8–12 with iOS 27 expected

Apple has announced that its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC26) is set for June 8 to 12, 2026. The event will be mostly online, with a special in‑person session at Apple Park on June 8.

As usual, WWDC is where Apple unveils its latest software. This year, we should expect iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27. AI will also be a big focus, with new tools and features likely to be revealed.

WWDC26 content will be available worldwide through the Apple Developer app, website, YouTube, and bilibili in China.

What to expect from iOS 27

According to a Bloomberg report, iOS 27 will focus on stability, bug fixes, and performance improvements, aiming to make the OS faster and lighter.

iOS 27 will also power Apple’s first foldable iPhone, expected in September. It will support dual displays, side‑by‑side apps, and redesigned layouts for larger screens, making the software more flexible for new hardware.

On the AI side, Siri will integrate Google Gemini, which should make the AI assistant smarter.

Apple is expected to announce iOS 27 at WWDC. A developer beta will likely roll out immediately after, followed by a public beta in July. The general release should arrive in September, alongside the next iPhone lineup.
