Disney and Marvel launch Infinity Vision for Avengers: Doomsday

The Walt Disney Studios and Marvel have launched Infinity Vision, a certification program for theaters that offer the best viewing experience for Avengers: Doomsday.

To become an Infinity Vision-certified theater, they must meet strict technical standards, including laser projection for brighter and sharper visuals, large-format screens for scale, and premium audio systems for enhanced sound. The goal is to make sure fans enjoy an immersive experience even without IMAX availability.

The rollout begins in September 2026 with the re-release of Avengers: Endgame. It will expand in December 2026 with the premiere of Avengers: Doomsday.

Disney confirmed that more than 75 domestic and 300 global PLF auditoriums are already certified, with more theaters expected to join.

Infinity Vision branding will appear online and in theaters, so that audiences will know which auditoriums are certified when buying movie tickets.
