Apple Sports expands to more than 90 new countries, including the Philippines

Apple Sports, the free iPhone app for live scores and stats, is now available in over 170 countries and regions. The rollout adds more than 90 new markets, including the Philippines, ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The app gives sports fans quick access to scores, team stats, and match details across major leagues and tournaments. For the World Cup, users can check group standings, customize scoreboards, and follow their favorite national teams.

Live Activities on iPhone and Apple Watch also let fans track matches without opening the app.

Apple Sports widgets on iPhone, iPad, and MacBook make it easy to stay updated, while integration with the Apple TV app lets users jump straight into live matches from connected streaming services.

New features include a scrollable tournament bracket view and enhanced game cards showing team formations.
