Insta360 has officially released the Luna Ultra in the Philippines, giving local creators access to its Leica optics and 8K video recording. The camera is offered in two bundles: the Standard Bundle priced at ₱46,790 and the Creator Bundle at ₱58,490.
The Luna Ultra features a 1-inch sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 20mm focal length, paired with a telephoto lens that supports 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless zoom, and up to 12x digital zoom.

Video recording reaches 8K at 30fps, while 4K supports 120fps and 240fps slow-motion. Photos include 37MP UltraPhoto shots and 200MP panoramas, with 10-bit recording, Dolby Vision, and I-Log support.
A detachable 2-inch touchscreen doubles as a remote monitor and controller, usable up to 20 meters away in both portrait and landscape. Audio is captured through a four-microphone array for clearer sound.
Battery life is rated at 4 hours from a 1,550mAh cell with fast charging. Stabilization comes from a 3-axis mechanical system enhanced by Deep Track 5.0. Storage includes 47GB built-in plus microSD expansion up to 1TB. Connectivity covers USB-C, Wi-Fi 6 for the main unit, and Wi-Fi 4 for the detachable display.

The Luna Ultra weighs 235g and comes in Cosmic Black and Stellar White. With its Leica optics, detachable display, and advanced stabilization, this device is a strong alternative to DJI’s Osmo Pocket.
