UnionBank now offers zero InstaPay fees

UnionBank has removed InstaPay transfer fees when sending money to other banks or e-wallets through the UnionBank Online app. Customers can now enjoy ₱0 fees for person-to-person fund transfers, making digital payments more affordable.

The UnionBank Online app supports InstaPay and PESONet transfers, UB-to-UB transfers, bills payments, telco load purchases, and in-store payments via QRPh.

With this update, InstaPay transactions to other banks and e-wallets are now free, adding UnionBank to the growing list of institutions offering zero fees.

Other banks have also made similar changes. BPI and RCBC now offer ₱0 InstaPay transfers. Meanwhile, Land Bank lowered its fee to ₱8, while GCash and Maya both reduced theirs to ₱10.

These adjustments are in line with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Circular No. 1238, which requires fees to reflect actual processing costs and remain fair and reasonable.
