BPI removes InstaPay and PESONet transfer fees for good

Starting July 1, 2026, Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) will permanently remove fees for InstaPay and PESONet transfers across its digital platforms.

The free transfers cover the BPI mobile app, BPI Online, VYBE e-wallet, and BizKo for small businesses. This means over 9 million enrolled app users can now send money to other banks and e-wallets without extra charges.

BPI’s move follows the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ push for fair, cost-based pricing in electronic fund transfers. It also supports the government’s goal of expanding digital payment adoption nationwide.

To access the free transfers, customers must update to the latest version of the BPI app, which was released on June 25, 2026.

The initiative comes as BPI celebrates its 175th anniversary on August 1. By removing fees, transaction costs are lowered, encouraging more Filipinos to shift to digital payments and making cashless banking more accessible for everyday users.
