BPI just rolled out version 13.1 of its mobile banking app, and it’s all about improving account safety. The update, released in late July, is now available for iOS, Android, and Huawei devices.
So what’s new? The app now has smarter tools to identify suspicious activity, block unauthorized access, and prevent other apps from interfering. If something seems off, you might see alerts like “device security compromised” or get temporarily locked out while the app keeps things secure.
If you’re using an Android phone, BPI recommends a few quick fixes to avoid issues. That includes turning off full-screen overlays or notifications from certain antivirus apps.
Samsung users are also encouraged to use the Secure Folder feature: just activate it in your settings, add the BPI app, close other apps, and launch BPI from inside the folder.
To stay protected and avoid any hiccups, make sure you’ve updated to the latest version. For more help or details, visit the BPI website.
