Maya has dropped its InstaPay transfer fee to ₱10, down from ₱15, starting July 6, 2026. The adjustment is in line with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Circular No. 1238, which requires fees to reflect actual processing costs.
Transfers between Maya users remain free, while PESONet transfers also stay free for bigger transactions credited the next banking day. Maya said the change is part of its push to make digital payments easier and more affordable for Filipinos.
The BSP directive ensures digital transfer fees are “reasonable and fair market-based,” lower than over-the-counter charges, and tied to actual service costs. This move is part of the regulator’s effort to make digital transactions more accessible nationwide.
InstaPay allows real-time fund transfers between banks and e-wallets, with a maximum of ₱50,000 per transaction. PESONet is for large-value fund transfers.
Other providers have also adjusted their fees. BPI removed InstaPay and PESONet fees starting July 1, while RCBC waived InstaPay fees beginning July 4. Earlier, Land Bank lowered its InstaPay fee to ₱8. GCash followed suit, dropping its fee to ₱10, starting July 4.

With Maya joining the list, users now have more options for cheaper transfers, and more banks are expected to follow BSP’s push for fairer digital transaction costs.
