RCBC waives InstaPay fees starting July 4

RCBC will waive InstaPay transfer fees starting July 4, 2026. Customers can send money for free through the RCBC Pulz app. This only covers the first 30 InstaPay transactions per month with a minimum transfer amount of ₱100. A standard ₱10 fee applies if you go over the limit or transfer below the minimum.

This announcement comes right after BPI permanently waived InstaPay and PESONet transfer fees at the end of June.

With two major banks now offering free transfers, customers can expect stronger competition in digital banking and more affordable services across the industry.

InstaPay allows real-time fund transfers between local banks and e-wallets. With this update, RCBC customers can transfer money instantly without incurring extra charges. The change is expected to encourage more people to go cashless and rely on mobile banking.

RCBC’s decision also reflects a growing trend among Philippine banks to support financial inclusion. Free transfers lower barriers for those who rely on mobile apps for daily transactions, making digital payments more accessible to a wider audience.

Hopefully, more banks follow this move to make digital transfers free for everyone.
