Maya integrates PH National ID and AI for faster onboarding

Maya is now using the Philippine National ID system with artificial intelligence (AI) to make onboarding and account verification faster, safer, and more accessible. The move combines shared digital infrastructure, AI, and human oversight to improve trust, accountability, and compliance while cutting down manual processes.

By connecting National ID data with AI and human checks, Maya can speed up onboarding that used to take days. This setup helps confirm identities quickly without cutting corners on trust or security. It also supports government efforts to build a stronger digital ID system for the country.

This National ID–first approach is one piece of Maya’s broader AI-first strategy. The company uses machine learning, decision engines, and automation in many parts of its business, from credit scoring and fraud detection to personalization and customer support.

These tools help Maya identify unusual activity, understand user behavior, and improve how it serves customers.
