Mastercard has rolled out Wallet Pay, a global program that makes digital wallets work smoothly across borders. The goal is simple: build trust, make payments secure, and help wallet users pay anywhere in the world.
Wallet Pay is built for inclusion, innovation, and scale. It connects wallets across countries and platforms, making payments faster and easier for users and merchants. The system supports secure issuing, allowing wallet providers to launch their own credit, debit, or prepaid cards.
It also enables unified digital and e-commerce experiences. Merchants can accept payments from cards and wallets both in person and online, linking more than 3.7 billion Mastercard credentials to digital wallets.
Wallet Pay supports fast money movement between cards, wallets, and accounts in over 200 countries and 150 currencies. It also expands access to low-cost financial tools for underbanked and unbanked communities, helping more people join the digital economy.
