The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has launched eGov AI inside the eGovPH app. The new feature includes Kuya A, a built-in assistant that helps users access online public services faster and more easily.
eGov AI is free for all verified eGovPH users. Kuya A provides real-time guidance and can answer questions and help you complete tasks without the usual hassle. The goal is to make government services more accessible and less confusing.
The platform includes several tools. You get document extraction for scanned files, image identification for everyday objects, and translation support for multiple Philippine languages. It also includes form understanding to simplify government paperwork, speech generation for structured communication, and tourism information for local destinations.
Another key feature is direct access to laws, policies, and guidelines. This makes it easier to check rules and regulations without digging through multiple sites. By combining these tools, eGov AI aims to improve efficiency and transparency in how citizens interact with government systems.
