Google has announced Googlebook, a new laptop line built for Gemini AI. The device starts at USD 899 (~ ₱56,400), with pre‑orders now open in supported countries.
Googlebook combines Android and ChromeOS foundations, designed to sync with your phone. Settings, Wi‑Fi, passwords, and messages transfer automatically. Hardware partners include Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, and Lenovo.
Models feature up to 2.8K OLED displays, haptic glass trackpads, and Glowbar light strips. Premium builds use aluminum, magnesium alloy, and carbon fiber. Battery life is rated at 14 hours of video playback and 16 hours of browsing.
Inside, you get either Intel Core Ultra Series 3 or Snapdragon X Elite processors with NPUs delivering over 45 TOPS. Memory starts at 16GB, with options up to 32GB.
Audio comes with Dolby Atmos, while noise‑canceling mics improve calls. Security features include Titan root of trust, Level 5 pKVM hypervisor, and an isolated Linux environment.
Gemini AI powers tools like Magic Pointer, which lets you call for help by wiggling the cursor, Rambler for smarter voice dictation, and Create My Widget for custom widgets. Developers can also build AI agents directly on the Antigravity platform.
Each unit comes with 12 months of Google AI Pro, 5TB storage, Gemini Advanced, plus trial access to YouTube Premium and Adobe Photoshop.

Googlebook pre‑orders start at USD 899. Units ship first in the US on October 4, followed by Canada, UK, EU, and Australia on October 5.
